Welcome to the world of Robin Kirby
The music of Robin Kirby is a soulful, passionate, rockin’ experience not to be missed. While she brings to mind her musical influences-from her Chicago upbringing to Janis Joplin and Melissa Etheridge- Robin has a driving guitar style and gutsy, emotional vocals that make this musician an American Original. "Robin Kirby opens her heart and invites the listener to share her hopes her dreams her love and her pain. she expresses each and more with a voice that possesses the rarest of qualities: the ability to project both confidence and vulnerability often at the same time" -Hollywood Steve Rangel, Texas Music Magazine
There's a Janis Joplin-esque quality to Kirby's music, but she's no copycat. Her originals - particularly the should-be-a-hit I Played a Heart - are earnest and earthy Joey Guerra Houston Press
