Biography

Hi and Welcome Back to my page :-) but if this is your first time here, then it is really nice to meet you!

I'm Kitana, just a little Aussie Gal who LIVES for music and writing songs. Over the years I have Released a couple of albums, won a couple of awards, played a few gigs :-) and enjoyed every single moment of it!

I am an Independent Artist and that to me, comes with a very high sense of accomplishment & pride in knowing that I belong to a generation of musician's that stay honest to their music in 'why' they continue to do it. It's one 'pigeon hole' in an Industry of 'Labels' that I gladly wear for the world to see! I'd have to say that I am Pretty proud to have been given the many cool opportunity's I have and am most thankful for all those I have met & worked with along the way. You have each helped shape & inspire me in some way, shape or form...Thank you xo!

I never started out with the intention or Grand Notion of becoming Rich, Famous OR a Star, wanting for so long as a child to just 'own' a guitar :-) I prefer to see it as the little place I escape too, with the bonus of being a much cheaper form of therapy. (lol) So to have been able to have had so many people embrace my music the way you have over the years, is pretty special to me. That some little Gal from Oz, who know-one really knows, has her music in homes all the way around the world, still blows my mind daily! I would like to say a big 'thank you' to everyone who has taken to the time to either buy or download any of my music, or taken the time to travel out to watch me play over the last 10 years. . . u know who you are. . . and you are appreciated! Without you , so many amazing Indie Artist's out there, would not have the chance to find those, that see outside the box, feel a connection or have a place of their own to finally 'fit in'! Thank you for all ur support & for visiting my page. I hope u enjoy the music!
